Kikiwi began as a personal exploration, a way to reimagine old lamp bases with custom shades that felt nostalgic and unique. What started as one-of-a-kind pieces for our home soon grew into a studio practice built on creativity and craftsmanship.
Today, Kikiwi is a small business based in British Columbia, Canada, offering made-to-order pieces that bring warmth and personality into modern spaces.
While lampshades remain at the heart of the brand, the collection has naturally grown. Each shade is crafted using iconic Liberty Fabrics, known for their timeless prints and rich color, and made by hand with care and attention to detail.
To reduce waste, we transform leftover fabric into one-of-a-kind scrunchies, a playful way to reuse what’s beautiful. For fellow makers, we also offer a selection of curated Liberty textiles, perfect for sewing your own creations at home like napkins, clothes, bags, or pillowcases.
